For the second consecutive year we decided to be part of the ANFM (National Association of Wedding Photographers) Convention, that took place from 2nd to 5th May in Bologna at the suggestive Palazzo Gnudi.

Over the three days more that 170 photographers attended the event. Several professional development activities were organized, for example the Album of the Year Contest.

This year I decided to take part to the contest, something unusual and inspiring for me. I chose a very emotional wedding, celebrated at the top of a hill in the Inland of Liguria: the one of Alessia and Gianluca.

Their choice to celebrate over two days made everything even more unusual, intense and interesting and I decided to start from there, telling their story as a travel journal, with several chapters and notes to describe every step of their love story.

It was undoubtedly terrific to see my album projected before 6 contest judges and so many colleagues. I admit to be incredibly happy with the final evaluation: my album was described as a high quality work and above average, and it was even more emotional given that there were more than 130 other participants.

A starting point that incites me to put even more efforts on this job. Because I want my works to be of the highest quality and innovative.

I want to personally thanks Alessia and Gianluca who chose us as their photographers and gave us the opportunity to tell their story, ANFM for being not only an association but my new, big family, my husband Fabrizio who constantly encourages me and is always by my side, and all the people who supported me in this project. And now, have a look at my work: it would be amazing to know your opinion!

Thanks and see you soon!

Yours, Giorgia.
