A colourful engagement in the stunning Langhe between Barolo and La Morra. Elena and Marco: a marvellous couple, who have been engaged for years, and fully in love with each other. We spent a great afternoon together in the wonderful setting of the Langhe. A sunny spring day. A glorious countryside venue, a clear-blue sky and a gentle breeze that were so inspiring for this engagement photo session, a unique opportunity for us to visit some sightseeing spots taking advantage of a gloriously sunny day. We took the first pictures in the characteristic Chapel of Barolo in La Morra (Cuneo), built in 1914 as a shelter, in case of storms, for those who used to work in the surrounding vineyards and later in 1999 transformed into one of the best known buildings of the area thanks to the work of famous artists such as Sol Le Witt and David Tremlett. The bright and intense colours were the perfect backdrop for several pictures, and incredibly inspiring.

We decided then to move to the village of Annunziata, where the majestic Cedar of Lebanon dominates. The history of that cedar dates back to 1856 when a young couple planted it, on their wedding day, to celebrate both their love and the love of their family for the land. According to tradition it was planted as good omen for the couple, because of its robustness and longevity to symbolize their relationship. It was such a strong, true, everlasting love to be remembered by the generations to come in the future. A romantic story that we re-experienced in a magical and suggestive venue, with breathtaking views from the surrounding hills. The day went into evening in Barolo, where we said goodbye to the couple, who was enjoying a good glass of red wine, a typical product of the area. A truly wonderful day spent discovering new amazing places. Thank you guys!
