WEDDING IN PALAZZO TURSI, GENOA. WATCHWORD: FAMILY. MARZIA AND CLAUDIO’S SPECIAL DAY
Happiness is love, nothing else matters. As Herman Hesse wrote in the early 1900s. And we should trust his words. While we are leafing Marzia and Claudio’s photo album, we understand how those simple words reflect the reality.
During their wedding there wasn’t a single moment, a glance, a gesture not filled with joy. And we can feel it when we have a look at the pictures we took while Claudio was getting ready surrounded by his loved ones. And the same thing can be felt looking at Marzia’s photos, eager to marry the love of her life, together with their beautiful daughter.
They chose a civil ceremony that was celebrated in the sumptuous halls of Palazzo Tursi. The atmosphere was absolutely moving, just like when the couple had a romantic walk in the alleys of Genoa. The couple and guests finally met at La Castagnola, in Cassano Spinola (Alessandria), for the wedding reception.
We first met Marzia and Claudio at Carlotta and Mirko’s wedding and then again in Genoa. We could understand immediately that they are love each other deeply, that they are a strong family with values and with the will to spend all their lives togheter.
A TRULY MOVING CEREMONY IN PALAZZO TURSI, GENOA
Marzia and Claudio have been celebrated by their loved ones, many friends and relatives that filled the atmosphere with joy. When Marzia got to Palazzo Tursi, through Via Garibaldi, with her father and in her original, tailor-made dress with 70s-style trousers and a lace top, the celebrations officially started. It was soon time for a couple photo session, in the alleys of Genoa first, and afterwards in the surrounding fields of Castagnola, the location that the couple chose for the reception.
During the evening, the atmosphere was really informal and relaxed: the couple gave their speech and one of the invites dedicated a romantic serenade to Marzia and Claudio, playing the guitar and singing for them.
The couple, their loved ones, the imperial tables with bales of hay as chairs and an ember of wood contributed to create a unique and original atmosphere.
The Cream Tart, the latest dessert trend that the couple chose as wedding cake, was finally cut and it lead to a final couple of hours of music and entertainment.
